Fabric Roll Weight Calculator
What is Fabric Roll Weight?
Fabric roll weight is the total weight of a fabric roll, usually calculated in kilograms, based on the GSM (grams per square meter), the width of the fabric, and the total length of the roll.
How to Calculate Fabric Roll Weight
To calculate fabric roll weight:
- Step 1: Multiply the fabric width by the length (in meters) to get area in m².
- Step 2: Multiply the area by GSM to get total grams.
- Step 3: Divide grams by 1000 to convert to kilograms.
Formula: Roll Weight (kg) = (GSM × Width × Length) ÷ 1000
Example: Fabric Roll Weight Table
GSM | Width (m) | Length (m) | Weight (kg) |
---|---|---|---|
150 | 1.5 | 50 | 11.25 |
200 | 1.6 | 40 | 12.80 |
180 | 1.2 | 60 | 12.96 |
220 | 1.4 | 30 | 9.24 |
250 | 1.8 | 25 | 11.25 |
