How to Convert Sine to Hypotenuse
The sine of an angle in a right triangle is the ratio of the opposite side to the hypotenuse.
Formula:
sin(θ) = Opposite / Hypotenuse
Rearranging the formula to find the hypotenuse:
Hypotenuse = Opposite / sin(θ)
Example:
Suppose sin(θ) = 0.5
and Opposite = 4
Then:
Hypotenuse = 4 / 0.5 = 8
Result: The hypotenuse is 8
