How to Convert Sine to Cosecant

To convert a sine value to its corresponding cosecant, use the reciprocal identity from trigonometry:

Formula:

csc(θ) = 1 / sin(θ)

Important: Cosecant is undefined when sin(θ) = 0, because division by zero is not possible.

Example:

Suppose sin(θ) = 0.5

Step 1: Use the formula → csc(θ) = 1 / 0.5

Step 2: Simplify → csc(θ) = 2

Result: csc(θ) = 2
